In this study, it is aimed to determine the burnout levels of school counselors working in Yıldırım, Gürsu and Kestel districts of Bursa province, to determine the relationship between some variables and burnout levels and from this point on, it is aimed to find solutions to the problem by determining the source of exhaustion problem. In the study, a 3-item Maslach Burnout Inventory (İnce & Şahin, 2015) was used. In the analysis of the data obtained in the study, the licensed SPSS 21 package program was used. In the analysis of the data, t-test and one-way ANOVA were used. As a result of the research, the burnout levels of the School Counselors; profession according to their year, gender, graduated from the undergraduate program, the number of students in the institution they work, the willingness to select the profession, the physical equipment of the guidance service, marital status and reasons for choosing the profession could not be found. Besides; According to the institution they work for (Guidance and Research Center, primary school, secondary school, high school) emotional exhaustion and personal success in the dimension of meaningful, desensitization in the dimension is meaningless; according to the state of appreciation; meaningful, depersonalization and personal accomplishment in the sub-dimension of emotional burnout; according to the charges; meaningful, personal success and emotional exhaustion in the subdimension of desensitization were meaningless in the sub-dimensions; in the case of assignments; meaningful, depersonalization and emotional exhaustion were found meaningless in the sub-dimension of personal achievement.Downloads
