With this research, four different variables were determined, namely the educational status of the families, the gender of the students, the success of the instrument course and the success of the orchestra course, in this way to examine the perceived family support of musicology students in instrument education in terms of different variables. This research was carried out in order to reveal the relationship between the perceived family support in instrument education, gender, age, educational status of families, and success in orchestra and instrument classes for students studying at Kırıkkale University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Music, Department of Music Sciences. This research is a descriptive research. The relational survey model was used as a model in the research. The study group consists of Music (N=35) students in the Department of Musicology at Kırıkkale Faculty of Fine Arts in the 2020-2021 academic year. 13 (37.15%) of the students are female, 22 (62.85%) of them are male. When the perceived family support of musicology students in instrument education is examined, it has been concluded that there is no significant relationship between the family's sensitivity to instrument education and their education level, but there is a significant relationship between their involvement in the instrument education process and the education levels of the families. As the education level increases, it is seen that families are involved in the education process of their children. Considering the perceived family support of musicology students in instrument education, no significant difference was found between the family's sensitivity to instrument education and their involvement in the process of instrument education, and the gender of the students. Considering the perceived family support of musicology students in instrument education, no relationship was found between the family's sensitivity to instrument education and the involvement of families in the process of instrument education, and the instrument success of the students. Considering the perceived family support of musicology students in instrument education, it was concluded that there is a positive (35%) 0.35 relationship between the success of the orchestra and the involvement of the families in the process of instrument education. Considering the perceived family support of musicology students in instrument education, no relationship was found between the students' orchestra success and the family's sensitivity to instrument education.
