AN ANALYSIS OF BEHİÇ AK’S CHILDREN’S BOOKS IN TERMS OF VALUES EDUCATION

In this work, general objectives of Turkish National Education, primary education objectives, basic principles of secondary education and general objectives of Turkish Principles, Primary school and High school Turkish Lesson teaching plan which is published in 2018, Turkish Lesson teaching plan (1-8 grades) which was published in 2015, The Turkish education plan (6-7 and 8th grades) which was published in 2006 and finally the sixty-three values which was identified from the values list by taking expert view which was prepared by analyzing the social studies teaching plan which was published in 2006 and was the first programme in which MEB served a values list was analyzed in Behiç AK’s twenty nine (29) children’s books. In the work carying qualitative research specification document analysis was made accordingly to the general scanning model. In the analyzed book among the sixty three values no dignty and moral values was encountered. All the other values except those are seen in Behiç AK’s children’s books. In Behiç Ak’s analyzed children’s books mostly (80 and above) “being critical and interrogator (304), love (85), diligence and effort (82) using technology (85)” values are taken part.
