A MAGICAL TECHNIQUE WITHIN THE SCOPE OF “LANGUAGE AND HARMONY” FOR THOSE WHO TEACH TURKISH TO SYRIANS: PROCESSIVE DRAMA

In today's world where science, technology and transportation progress and develop at a dizzying pace, foreign language acquisition is gaining importance day by day, and monolingualism is being replaced by multilingualism and multiculturalism. Although teaching Turkish as a foreign language is a new discipline today, the historical adventure of teaching Turkish as a foreign language dates back to ancient times. Although it is a new disciplinary field today, new theories, methods, skills and practices are developed and applied to the field by experts in this field. The aim of the study is to teach Turkish to individuals coming from Syria and learning Turkish through processual drama. For this purpose, an application example is also given for researchers and educators. Qualitative research method, case pattern, was preferred as the method of the study. The data was collected through documents and a descriptive application example was presented in the data analysis. It is important that the teachers who provide this education to Syrian refugees adapt to the process as well as their education. Asylum seekers need to live in harmony in order to survive in our country. However, in order to create a harmonious living space with refugees, it is thought that it would be beneficial for those who educate them to receive training on social harmony.
