INVESTIGATION OF EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES IN THE FIELD OF CAREER PSYCHOLOGICAL COUNSELLING

This research is important in terms of showing the current situation regarding current experimental studies involving different age groups published in the field of career counselling and vocational guidance. Within the scope of this study, it was aimed to determine the approaches and models used in the studies conducted in the field of career counselling and vocational guidance between 2013-2023, to examine the methods of analysis, to determine the characteristics of the study groups and the general thematic patterns of dependent variables, and to reveal the new paradigm changes in the current study areas. In the research process, document analysis method, one of the qualitative research approaches, was used. Document analysis is a data collection method that involves the thematic analysis of written materials containing information about research on phenomena. In the research, articles and postgraduate theses including the studies in the field of career counselling conducted between 2013-2023 covering the last ten years were examined. Only experimental studies were included in the evaluation and descriptive studies were excluded. In order to evaluate the studies, a "Publication Review Form" was prepared by the researchers. This form consists of 9 sections: publication year, research type, dependent variable and subject area, sample group, number of sessions, session duration, type of sample group, theoretical approach and type of analysis used. The data obtained within the scope of the research were subjected to qualitative data analysis and inferences and suggestions were made.
