The purpose of this research’s to determine the difficulties faced by forensic interviewers due to their duties and their views on the solutions or regulations that can minimize these difficulties. The sample consisted of 82 forensic interviewers who’re involved in twenty-six children advocacy centers in Turkey. The Personal and Professional Information Form, presented to the participants as a data collection tool and the open-ended question in this form, were answered by 61.19% of the research population. The answers given by the participants’re distributed into eleven headings according to their content and the main themes reflected in the content were interpreted. It was stated and suggested by the participants that creating a written regulation such as the children advocacy center regulation, standardizing the functioning, working order, physical standards of these centers, job description of the personnel and the number of personnel providing service throughout the country, creating regulations that protect against the burden of forensic interviewers’ overwork, providing regular supervision support and in-service training programs to the forensic interviewer, financial incentives and social opportunities to the forensic interviewer, taking precautions against fatigue and secondary traumatic stress, establishing a advocacy system for the victim child and his family, whose forensic interview’s conducted.

Bu araştırmanın amacı, adli görüşmecilerin yürüttüğü görev sebebiyle karşı karşıya kaldığı zorlukları ve bu zorlukları en aza indirgeyebilecek çözüm önerileri veya düzenlemelerin neler olduğuna yönelik görüşlerinin belirlenmesidir. Örneklem, Türkiye’nin yirmi altı çocuk izlem merkezinde aktif şekilde görev alan 82 adli görüşmeciden oluşmuştur. Veri toplama aracı olarak katılımcılara sunulan Kişisel ve Mesleki Bilgi Formu ile bu form içerisindeki açık uçlu soruya, araştırma evreninin %61,19’u yanıt vermiştir. Katılımcıların verdikleri yanıtlar, içeriklerine göre on bir başlık içerisine dağıtılarak içerik içerisinde yansıtılan ana temalar yorumlanmıştır. Çocuk izlem merkezi yönetmeliği gibi yazılı bir düzenleme oluşturularak bu merkezlerin işleyişi, çalışma düzeni, fiziki standartları ile personelin görev tanımı ve hizmet sunan personel sayısının ülke genelinde standart duruma getirilmesi, adli görüşmecileri aşırı iş yükünden koruyan düzenlemelerin oluşturulması, adli görüşmeciye düzenli süpervizyon desteği ve hizmet içi eğitim programları sunulması, adli görüşmecilikte yetkinliğin takibinin sağlanması, adli görüşmeciye psikolojik destek, maddi özendireçler ve sosyal imkânlar sunulması, tükenmişliğe ve ikincil travmatik strese yönelik önlemler alınması ve adli görüşmesi yürütülen mağdur çocuk ve ailesine yönelik izlem sisteminin oluşturulması katılımcılar tarafından belirtilmiş ve önerilmiştir.
