This study aims to develop a scale to measure individuals' academic self-efficacy towards art education. In line with this purpose, findings on scale development stages, Cronbach's Alpha for validity and reliability analysis, reliability tests, exploratory factor analysis, and confirmatory factor analysis were included. In this direction, because of the literature review conducted by the researcher, an item pool consisting of 37 items for academic self-efficacy in art education was created. The question items sent to 12 field experts using the Davis technique were reduced to 33 items in line with expert opinions. The 33-item draft scale was applied to 347 visual arts teacher candidates studying at the undergraduate level at Trabzon, Fırat, Sivas Cumhuriyet, Giresun, and Rize Universities in the 2022-2023 academic year for exploratory factor analysis. The construct validity of the results of the exploratory factor analysis was tested with confirmatory factor analysis. To conduct this test, the relationship between the factors and the model fit was determined by conducting an application with 250 visual arts teacher candidates studying at Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal, Bursa Uludağ, Osmaniye Korkut Ata and Pamukkale Universities at the undergraduate level. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis, the scale was collected under four factors and its accuracy was tested with confirmatory factor analysis. The first factor of the scale was called academic self-efficacy (8 items), the second factor was art education (8 items), the third factor was social interest (4 items), and the fourth factor was inadequacy (3 items). The Cronbach Alpha internal consistency coefficient of the scale was calculated as 0.90 and the test-retest reliability was calculated as 0.92. These results indicate that the reliability of the scale is high. The scale developed to determine the academic self-efficacy of individuals receiving art education towards art education consists of 23 items. The fact that the sub-dimensions of the scale show a positive and significant relationship with the total scale and with each other shows that there is construct validity.

Bu çalışma ile birlikte, bireylerin sanat eğitimine yönelik akademik öz-yeterliklerinin ölçülebilmesi için bir ölçek geliştirmektir. Bu amaç doğrultusunda ölçek geliştirme safhaları, geçerlik güvenirlik analizleri için Cronbach’s Alpha, güvenirlik testleri, açımlayıcı faktör analizi ve doğrulayıcı faktör analizine dair bulgulara yer verilmiştir. Bu doğrultuda araştırmacı tarafından yapılan literatür taraması sonucunda sanat eğitiminde akademik öz-yeterliliğe yönelik 37 maddeden oluşan bir madde havuzu oluşturulmuştur. Davis tekniğine kullanılarak 12 alan uzmanına gönderilen soru maddeleri uzman görüşleri doğrultusunda 33 maddeye indirgenmiştir. 33 maddelik taslak ölçek 2022-2023 öğretim yılında Trabzon, Fırat, Sivas Cumhuriyet, Giresun ve Rize Üniversite’lerinde lisans düzeyinde öğrenim gören 347 görsel sanatlar öğretmen adayına Açımlayıcı faktör analizi yapmak için uygulanmıştır. Yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analizi sonuçlarının yapı geçerliliği ise doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile ölçülmüştür. Bu testin yapılabilmesi için Bolu Abant İzzet Baysal, Bursa Uludağ, Osmaniye Korkut Ata ve Pamukkale Üniversite’lerinde lisans düzeyinde öğrenim gören 250 görsel sanatlar öğretmen adayı ile birlikte uygulama yapılarak faktörlerin birbirleriyle ilişkisi ve model uyumu belirlenmiştir. Yapılan açımlayıcı faktör analizleri sonucunda dört faktör altında toplanan ölçeğin doğrulayıcı faktör analizi ile birlikte doğruluğu test edilmiştir. Ölçeğin birinci faktörü akademik öz-yeterlik (8 madde), ikinci faktörü sanat eğitimi (8 madde), üçüncü faktörü sosyal ilgi (4 madde), dördüncü faktör ise yetersizlik (3 madde) şekilde isimlendirilmiştir. Ölçek için Cronbach Alpha iç tutarlılık katsayısı 0,90 olarak, test-tekrar test güvenirliği ise 0.92 hesaplanmıştır. Bu sonuçlara bakıldığında ölçeğin güvenilirliğinin yüksek olduğu görülmektedir. Sanat eğitimi alan bireylerin sanat eğitimine yönelik akademik öz-yeterliklerini belirleyebilmek için geliştirilen ölçek 23 maddeden oluşmaktadır. Ölçeğin alt boyutları toplam ölçekle ve birbiriyle pozitif yönde ve anlamlı ilişki göstermesi yapı geçerliliğinin olduğunu göstermektedir.
