Cold war, II. It is a concept that emerged after World War II. II. The cold war has continued between the United States of America (USA) and the former Soviet Union, now known as the Russian Federation (Russia), from World War II to the present. This struggle was also reflected in the biggest and most important sports organization, the Olympic Games. The Olympics are not just a good arena for athletes to prove their success all over the world and go down in history. By using the Olympics, countries also have an opportunity to prove their superiority against other countries, especially their rivals. The USA and Russia have developed different sports policies to win the cold war in the Olympic arena. One of these policies has been on the coaching education system. The aim of this study is to examine and compare the coaching education systems of the USA and Russia. Document analysis method was used in the study. The word "United States Coaching Education System" was searched in Turkish and English from Google Scholar, EBSCO, ULAKBİM and ResearchGate academic databases. Later, the word "Russian Federation Coaching Education System" was increased in Turkish, English and Russian. Apart from these words, similar words that may be related to this study were also searched in the databases. In addition, the official websites of the institutions of these countries were examined. The information obtained as a result of these examinations constitute the sources of the study. In the USA, the coaching education system is given in three ways. These; are training provided by universities, national sports federations and non-profit organizations. In Russia, coaching education is given in two ways. These; These are the trainings given by universities and national sports federations. Coaching education in the USA is overseen by non-profit organizations. In Russia, the state is the main supervisory mechanism. When the coaching education systems of the two countries are compared, the state is not actively involved in the US education system, while the state in Russia is trying to control and improve the coaching education system by making various legal regulations
